Majorel Expands In Egypt To Support The Rapid Growth Of Its Digital Disruptor Client Base, Creating Over 1,000 New Jobs
Luxembourg, 18 November, 2020 – Majorel, a leading customer experience (CX) and BPO provider for some of the world’s most respected brands, has announced two new contact centers in Egypt to support the rapid growth of its digital disruptor client base, drawing on the country’s highly skilled multilingual labor pool.
The new sites complement Majorel’s already extensive geographical footprint in Africa and the Middle East, bringing its global presence to 54,000+ people in 29 countries.

These new centers, consolidate this leading position.
The two new multilingual contact centers are in Cairo and Beni Suef. Part of the newly-built One Kattemeya Business Complex at the heart of Cairo and with excellent transport links, Majorel will occupy its own 11-floor building. The first phase, covering four floors, has a capacity for 1,000+ people and is scheduled to open in early 2021. Majorel’s new site at Beni Suef, just south of Cairo which opened earlier in 2020, has capacity for over 600 people.
This expands Majorel’s footprint in Egypt to six centers (in Cairo, Beni Suef and Alexandria). The company currently employs 7,500 people in Egypt, focused on working for Majorel’s global internet/high-tech clients and leading local brands. In addition to offering offshore services to English-speaking markets, Majorel Egypt also supports the wider nearshore EMEA region with 11 additional languages, with 24/7/365 digital-led CX services.

Majorel Group Luxembourg S.A. today announces that it has signed a contract to acquire Mayen Telekomünikasyon Hizmetleri A.Ş., one of Turkey's leading independent nearshore CX providers. The expected closing date for the transaction is December 31, 2021, subject to anti-trust approval, and will then be effective as of January 1, 2022.
