ASUS and Majorel Celebrate First Anniversary as Partners in Georgia
Luxembourg, 18th Dezember, 2020 – In November, 2019, Majorel in Georgia started a collaboration with ASUS, a leading technology company in the global market. ASUS and Majorel have a long history of collaboration, which is just one of the few success stories we’ve celebrated together as partners.
“Partnership with a global brand such as ASUS is a challenging, yet exciting journey for us. For the past year, the project has been successful to the point that we took over a new line of the business and further expanded the scope of our operation. This has been achieved by our #OneTeam spirit and through the joint efforts of our people, always striving for excellence. I’d like to highlight the energy, drive, dedication, and enthusiasm that the local team has shown in this project. Our people truly take ownership and deliver top quality results that we are proud of,” said Alexander Mironenko, Country Manager at Majorel Georgia.
As part of the project, our team in Kutaisi, Georgia is responsible for providing technical and e-commerce support to ASUS customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland by telephone, e-mail, and chat.
“Due to recent developments in our industry, we decided to review our market strategy in 2019. We thought firstly to outsource our call center business from local to nearshore (Georgia), which would be a tough adventure. And yes, it cost additional efforts, but the power of the young, highly motivated and goal-orientated team makes the adventure a great journey for us. Fulfilling ASUS customer’s expectations is not just a concept, it’s a part of ASUS culture and therefore we firmly believe that this step will allow us to achieve our corporate goals in the long term,” said Matthias Czesla, Service Manager of ASUS Germany.
Initially, the project was limited to providing technical support, but over time the partnership grew stronger to where the local team currently provides support for the ASUS Germany Online Shop.
The team also handles warranty services for a variety of ASUS products. ASUS has a separate product line for gaming; therefore, providing support to users of gaming technology falls within the competence of our team in Kutaisi as well.
“Candidates who have the required technical skills and passion for the industry are presented with a great opportunity to work with us in Kutaisi and further develop their skills. Because of the dedication and hard work of each member of our team, this project has been a great success that we are very much proud of. Our team stands out by their constant drive to be the top player in the market,” says Dimitri Baratashvili, Operations Manager of the ASUS Support Team at Majorel Georgia.
“I am very proud of all members of the team. Everyone showed an impressive performance not only of their technical and language skills, but also in the way they provide customer service for our client. This is also reflected in the speed with which ASUS’s Key Performance Indicators were met. I really don’t take the high dedication this development required for granted, especially under the pandemic circumstances, that were really challenging for all of us. I’m very excited to see what comes next,” says Stefanie Wesselny, Account Manager of the ASUS Support Team at Majorel Georgia.
ASUS, a multinational computer and phone hardware and electronics company, is the world's 6th largest PC vendor by unit sales as of July 2020.
Majorel Group Luxembourg S.A. today announces that it has signed a contract to acquire Mayen Telekomünikasyon Hizmetleri A.Ş., one of Turkey's leading independent nearshore CX providers.
